Fumar Mata

Como todos muy bien sabemos, fumar mata. Provoca enfermedades mortales del corazón y de los pulmones en el fumador, pero además, afecta a las personas que están a su alrededor y que respiran el humo del cigarro. Y yo me pregunto: ¿Por qué no se hace nada al respecto?

El gobierno, en 2007, aprobó la ley la cual prohíbe fumar en lugares públicos. Los aplaudo. Esto hace que los no fumadores no se vean afectados por el tabaco en su ámbito público. Pero, ¿y en los lugares privados? En ese caso, el gobierno no puede hacer nada, es un problema individual, pero puede intervenir. El gobierno, en vez de mirar tanto por los grandes beneficios que el tabaquismo aporta a las arcas de Hacienda y a las tabaqueras, ¿por qué no aumenta los precios del tabaco de todas las tabaqueras? Volvemos a cometer el mismo problema de siempre, valoramos el dinero por encima de la salud de las personas.

Para derrotar al tabaco es necesario voluntad y, en caso de no poder, acudir a expertos. Sin embargo, el gobierno también debe impulsar mesuras más duras y, como no, efectivas.

Without Computers

I think that the most important invention in these last years has been the computer. Nowadays, in a lot of places, people can’t work or live without computers.

The computer is a very useful machine in different ways. For example, we find a lot of information on the internet that can help us from our home and it isn’t necessary to go to the library or another place. If old people or disabled people can’t leave their home, they can communicate by e-mails and they will buy things on the internet such as companies using computers to communicate with their clients and to stock up on things. In addition, the computer is the perfect place where you can keep information.

In my view, the computer is the perfect machine that helps a lot of people every day in the world.

The Earth Is Getting Hotter

Nowadays, the Earth is getting hotter by the pollution and nobody is doing anything. I think that in a recent future this problem will be the biggest problem in the world.

One example of pollution are the exhaust fumes of the cars. There are a lot of cars but there are going to be more than now, so, there is going to be more pollution. And there are a lot of different examples of pollution. One day, we won’t stop this pollution because it will be late.

This problem will have some repercussions, for example the animals. A lot of animals live in cold places. I only want that it will have a solution and we can live better.

The Car: a Friend or an Enemy

In my opinion, nowadays the car is our friend and our enemy for many different reasons.

The car can be our friend because it is more comfortable, more helpful, faster and more individual than public transport. For example, you don’t need a timetable for using your car, you haven’t to leave your house an hour before and maybe, it won’t be necessary to walk for arriving home.

But the car can be our enemy, too. Every year, there are a lot of traffic accidents. Also, there is more pollution. People don’t understand that these are very big problems, but they have solutions.

If we change some bad things, we will save the world.

Barcelona's Beach

Last summer, one day I was in Barcelona with my best friend. In the afternoon, we decided go to the beach for seeing the sunset.

I consider that the beach is a special place. I like seeing famous towers and the casino centre. Also, I love seeing multicultural people. But, I absolutely love the sunset. I usually lie in the beach and listen to the movements of the sea. Sometimes, I take off my shoes and introduce my feet in the water. An inconvenient is that you smell the meal of the restaurants and maybe, the rubbish.

I usually go to this beach with my friend to see the sunset and feel the peace.

Winning isn't everything

Winning the lottery is not the most important thing. There are other things that need more attention.

Every year, at Christmas, everybody expects winning the lottery. In my case, I love switching on the television and hope to see my number appear on the screen. But, I wonder: What will I do with the money? I think I will buy a house and a farm in Switzerland and maybe, I will do a fantastic travel around the world. But these things wouldn’t change my live. Money can help people, but it can’t change anything. Finally, when I would do all the things that I wanted to do, I wouldn’t have money and I would be in the first situation, hoping to win the lottery.

In my opinion, the most important things are my family and my friends. And you can’t pay for having a family and friends; they are a part of your life and they can change it.

This was a high school's eassy. But, the truth is that i want to win the lottery's Christmas this year :)

The Internet

Nowadays, the Internet is making a big progress. Few years ago, the humanity had to use big cages that seemed a computer for communicating. In the last few ages, people own a computer at their home and they can go online.

The advantages of Internet are the communication and the information. On the one hand, you can communicate with a lot of people over the world by emails, chats, blog, etc. On the other hand, you can know a lot of information, too. I think Internet is the fastest way of communication; you have the information in your hands when you need it.

But, one disadvantage of Internet is the virus. You can have a big problem if a virus enters in your computer. Maybe, you will lose all your documents and you must buy another one.
I think I couldn’t live without Internet. I need it for my homework and other important things. Also, it is a good thing to progress in the world.

Smokers

I think that forbid smoking in public spaces is a good idea because if someone doesn’t like to smoke, he or she doesn’t have to stand it.

In my opinion, I would ban smoking in public spaces because I think that smoking in a restaurant or in a bar while you are eating isn’t normal. I can’t believe that people are smoking while they are eating and speaking. I think that the meal will have a terrible taste if I smoke and the same problem with drinks. Another problem is that I hate breathing smoke like other people. If I don’t smoke because I hate it, when I go to a public space, I don’t want to bear smokers.

If I would be able to ban smoking, I would do it. Smokers can smoke in the street or at home and don’t disturb anybody.

A frightening situation

We stayed in the hotel of Rome. I was in my room with my friend Ivan and my partner Lydia.

Suddenly, the phone rang. When I answered, somebody told me something frightening and hung up. I was very frightened, so I closed the door and the window very quickly. This person called me other times along the night. In one of this calls, he told me that he kidnapped Sara and about one hour later, Sara was in my room crying. She told me that a bald man tried to rape her. I didn’t believe it, so I took out of my room all people.

Then, Sara and a lot of people started to knock at my door. I was sleeping, however I opened the door and many people told me:
-It was a joke!!

Extreme weather

I was on holiday in a hotel in Costa Brava. I got up at 9 o’clock and I went to look out of the window. The weather was ok so my parents and I decided to go out and visited the coast.

While my mother was having a shower, my father and I had breakfast and the weather didn’t change. However, after my shower the weather started to change. Firstly, fog appeared so I couldn’t see the house which was in front of the hotel. Then, I saw a lightning and straight away I heard the thunder. I started to get angry because maybe I couldn’t leave the hotel. And I wasn’t wrong. It was raining during all the day.

At last, when I was watching the news, the reporter said that there would be strong gales the following day.
